Traditional Medicines derived from medicinal plants are used by about 60% of the world’s population. A medicinal plant traditionally used in tropical regions. The pharmacological activities of Mangifera include antioxidant, radio protective, antitumor, immunomodulatory, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, ant diabetic, lipolytic, antibone resorption, monoamine oxidase inhibiting, antiviral, antifungal antibacterial and ant parasitic properties, which may support the numerous traditional uses of the plant. In the present review focused on the antioxidant activity and total phenolic content and total flavonoids content activity of Mangnifera Indica from fruit powder and leaf. Mangnifera Indica peels as an excellent source of bioactive compounds and the potential of fruit by-product to be utilized as functional food ingredients and nutraceutical products.
